CARBONVERDE® offers independent and comprehensive consulting to forestland and grassland owners interested in generating and trading carbon credits.
CarbonVerde® works closely with landowner clients to develop a long-term mutually beneficial relationship built on trust. We use a transparent and systematic approach that starts with educating our client on the current and evolving state of the voluntary and emerging compliance carbon markets. CarbonVerde's approach is transparent to ensure that clients understand the entire project development process and costs of generating bio-carbon assets; from eligibility assessments to feasibility assessments, to project development and registration of credits.
CarbonVerde® is lead by Steven Ruddell , who has been active in land-use bio-carbon project development in the United States and internationally since 2003. CarbonVerde's expertise spans all activities of the project development cycle and all forestland and grassland carbon protocols, methodologies, agricultural commodity supply chains, and international greenhouse gas standards. Based on our client's risk profile and finance needs, if desired, CarbonVerde® works with trusted sources of carbon finance to fund all aspects of implementing and registering carbon credits.
CarbonVerde® is active in several policy and land use working groups including: the Forest-Climate Working Group, the Land Use/Forestry Working Group of the International Emissions Trading Association, the Coalition on Agricultural Greenhouse Gases, and the Forests in the Farm Bill Coalition.
CarbonVerde's business model ensures that the landowner will own and keep all the offset credits generated from a project; we work on a fee for service basis only, making the landowner better off financially.
